In this unit learned the qualities which make a good teacher and the varied roles of the teacher in the classroom, and when to use them. I also studied the general characteristics of what make a good learner and some of the common differences between young learners and adults as well as the pros and cons of working with each group. I also covered the different language levels students are usually categorised into, then finally focused on the various motivations students have for studying English.
