This unit gave an overview on the characteristics, roles and responsibilities of both teachers and learners in the classroom and teachers being able to influence their students growth and development through motivation. I was happy to get an in-dept view as to what makes a good teacher and how adults and young learners can have different views and behaviours when in a classroom setting. I was able to better understand why adults learn differently from young learners. The unit further went on to show some of the main reasons why individuals will want to study an English Course.
