From this unit, I feel that I have learned the necessary framework to understand my role as a teacher in relation to the role of a learner. In becoming more familiar with the levels of fluency, the common deterrents of learning, and the reasons behind ESL motivation, I feel more confident and excited to take on the role of a TEFL teacher. I hope to practice all the teaching roles, such as a facilitator, modeler, and assessor, to allow students to succeed in their language acquisition.
