Unit 5- Teaching Themes is a very important topic for us teachers to be able to identify teaching strategies applicable for different groups of young learners. I've never thought that there would be considerations when it comes to choosing your activities. There were even times when I failed to connect my activities with my teaching point. I'm happy to learn that there are such that we need to take into consideration like songs and chants which are particular for young learners and older young learner students; incorporating games ; arts and crafts. I was also reminded about the 8 different types of intelligences and how to apply it in my class. This unit is such a very interesting and helpful for me.
