In this unit I have learned that teachers need to take into account cultural issues when teaching in different parts of the world. I have also become aware of important questions that need to be answered about the country where one is going to be teaching. Furthermore, I have learned about some websites where the CV can be posted when thinking about applying for work. I have also learned some tips on writing both a CV and a cover letter. I have learned about additional qualifications, if one wants to get further in the teaching career. Finally, I have learned that there are organizations one can become a member of. These organizations have great information for teachers and they also hold conferences to learn about new developments.
