In this unit we learn strategies to teach vocabulary, grammar and functions of the language using ESA methods. When teaching vocabulary, we select vocabulary to teach according to how appropriate it is to the student level, to the task, and how easy it is to teach. Students need to know the meaning of the word, how to use it, how to spell it. When teaching grammar structures, students need to learn the form and the usage. Finally, we look into teaching functions of the language - like inviting, agreeing, suggesting.
