Through this unit, I have got much knowledge about the characteristics of a good teacher. Moreover, I also knew more about the specific roles of the teacher in a class such as: a manager, a model, an assessor, a facilitator, an organizer, a prompter, a tutor, a observer. All these things make me become a better teacher in the future. In the other hand, I also knew about the characteristics of a good learner as well as the advantages and disadvantages in each of age and level. It's very helpful for me in teaching process. I think all information of unit 1 is really useful and valuable for all teachers. I like the sentence in the conclusion of this unit - "a good teacher will most likely have a good student". It's really significant.
