Through Unit 1, I gained useful knowledge of the criteria for evaluating a good teacher, classifying the English levels of learners. Beside, I completely understand the roles of teachers in a foreign language class. What I find most impressive is that teachers should not only focus on the content of the lesson but also need to pay much attention to the learners, guide the learners properly without making them nervous or shy. Therefore, creating good relationships in the classroom is essential, resulting in high academic performance. In addition, assessing the level of learners can help teachers make appropriate learning topics.
