I learned about the qualities and functions of teachers and students. Also how to categorize levels of students, regarding age and ability, and the pros and cons of these categories. The teacher and student qualities and functions are especially important, as these to a larger extent form the level and quality of teaching. If teachers understand these areas, they can understand the students better, and interact more effectively with the students, thus maximizing the learning experience. Furthermore, they will recognize student abilities which need to be addressed.
