This was a very short chapter. As a matter of fact the topic is very simple: vocabulary, grammar and functions. The structures are once again mentioned (as they were in chapter three) but there were interesting parts, as when and what should be taught to students about vocabulary and grammar. the teacher must choose wisely what is important and functional for the students. Spending ten minutes teaching where the words came from is a waste of time and energy. It would be way more productive to teach them the usage and its function.
