This unit taught me that all three functions of grammar,vocabulary and language function are important when teaching students.In understanding the meanings and the specific uses of each function you are able to create a lesson that can give students the tools necessary to use when learning English.It gave me the criteria needed to understand how each function is applied and taught within a class room using ESA methods.
