This unit focused on the methodologies and contextual appropriateness of various strategies for teaching a new language's grammar and vocabulary to students. It surveyed the various challenges of learning new a new vocabulary such as pronunciation, technical nature, and variations of lingual and written forms of the same words. It was helpful to be reminded of the fact that we do not always say a word the same way it is written.
