This Unit 7 content is about what is behind teaching new languages. It compares grammar, vocabulary and functions with a healthy tree. Where grammar is the trunk and branches as the main structure and the leaves are the vocabulary and functions. We learn the "straight arrow" method is useful for teaching grammar and vocabulary, while "boomerang" and "patchwork" are worthy for teaching functions. We also see some ideas of exercices through engaging, studying and activating; and learn some usual reasons to help us to determine the level of dificulty of a student to absorve a new language.
