This unit continued the discussion of tenses from unit 4. As mentioned at the outset, there are definitely rules when formulating the tenses. Continuous forms always have the auxillary verb 'to be'. Perfect forms always have the auxillary verb 'to have'. And perfect continuous forms always have the auxillary verbs 'to have' and 'been'. Once this is understood, when looking at a sentence, the tense can easily be recognized.
