Sometimes I apply the past tense without knowing exactly why the different past tenses so I think that this unit was really helpful in understanding when it’s adequate to use a particular past tense. Also one tip that will definitely help me in the future is to focus on the structure of the sentence instead of the usage to identify which past tense is used in a sentence. Finally I find that the activate phase teaching ideas are really interesting and will help make the past tense lesson more dynamic.
