In this chapter I reviewed how certain words fill different types of grammatical functions, as well as how they are used to compose sentence structure. Understanding grammar will help students be able to pick apart sentences to better understand them, as well as help them compose their own message when speaking or writing in English. This lesson also highlighted the importance of several key grammatical terms ie. noun, verb, adjective, preposition and the variations in their functions.
