I learned the different parts of speech in the English language. In this chapter, I learned about nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, and prepositions. Within each section, there were different subsections about each section. For example, in the sections about nouns, I learned that there were different types of nouns such as common, proper, compound, abstract, and collective nouns. There were plural nouns that I learned about and that you can change one form of singular noun to plural noun. For example, tooth can turn to teeth.
