This unit spoke about grammar and the various parts of speech. Parts of speech refers the category in which a particular word may be assigned in a sentence. Some of the main parts of speech which were covered in the unit include noun, pronoun, verb, adverb, adjective, conjunction, etc. Nouns refer to people, places, animals, things, qualities and states. Adjectives are what we use to describe the state of nouns. Overall, all parts of speech help to construct sentences and add meanings to them.
