In this class, it mainly introduces the theories, methods and techniques. Especially, some useful teaching methods like the Classical Method, which is the most popular method around the 17th used by scholars to translate ancient Greek and Latin texts into their native language. Besides, the Direct Method, it is also called the Natural Method, which tells us that if we wish to learn a language then we should try to recreate the condition that we learn our native language in. As well as other methods such as TPR AND ESA proposed by Jeremy Harmer. Of course, everything has its two sides, no exception with the teaching methods. It also has its positives and negatives. I really hope i can put them into practice when i am teaching. I firmly believe these can help me do it better.
