This unit carefully teaches the different theories, methodologies and techniques of teaching. Of great importance is the Engage, Study and Activate(ESA) methodology. This teaching approach is further broken down into three lesson orders: Straight Arrow ESA order, Boomerang ESA order and Patchwork ESA order. Extensive information is provided for each lesson order with ample examples to aid understanding and application. In addition, the unit discusses how feedback should be given in order to achieve its aim. it equally looks at different correction techniques, while establishing the difference between a mistake and an error.
