Unit 3 provided TEFL learners with the framework from which lesson planning and classroom time should be structured. It also exposed TEFL learners to a wide variety of methodology, both weak and strong, to support the type of methodology that has proven effective of teachers of English as a foreign language. Unit 3 then went into detail on the Engage-Study-Activate method and provided TEFL learners with the importance of following each component within a lesson. In addition, Unit 3 provided TEFL learners with acceptable variations one might use in the classroom as well as concrete examples of classroom ideas. The unit concluded with a section on correction and its use in the EFL learning process.
