In this unit, I learnt about the theories, methods and techniques that go into teaching and learning English, something that being a native speaker I never really paid much attention to. It was very insightful to read about the multiple methodologies, like grammar translation, task-based learning, suggestopedia, etc., and how each method has one aim but uses different techniques in order to reach that aim. It was also very interesting to read about the correction segment explaining the differences between a mistake and an error and also how one should correct another in the most effective manner.
