In this unit I was introduced to the most common methods and techniques used for learning and teaching language. I was first given several example of effective elicitation techniques. Next, the concept of "Engage, Study, and activate" was explained in detail. As well as being taught how to structure different forms of ESA lessons, I was shown a wide variety of ideas to use in class for each stage. Finally, I learned about giving feedback, proper correction techniques, and the use of codes when correcting written work. I feel I learned many useful ways to structure my lessons in a way that students will find engaging whilst studying this unit.
