In unit 12 I learned about teaching productive skills. The two productive skills are speaking and writing. We use productive skills to communicate a language. When teaching students how to speak a language it is important to focus on fluency and pronunciation. When teaching students how to write in a language it is important to focus on spelling and punctuation. Different games for speaking and writing can be a useful tool when teaching productive skills.
