Unit 2 has provided a refresher and a great explanation that defines what we are speaking. I can understand now how it might be overwhelming for someone studying english as a second language. One rule that I was not aware of was on page 6. Which describes both comparative and superlatives (adjective). I always know when to use (er) and when to use (more) but didn't not know that there was an actual ruler to it. After reading Unit 2 I will pay closer attention to what I write. Still the fact that there are so many different rules and combination is somewhat of a fun and interesting fact to know about the english language. I will be more sensitive to students learning english as I understand that when presented with so many rules and restrictions it can be overwhelming.
