In this unit I learned that both authentic and creative materials are great for teaching students. I was happy to learn that teachers are not expected to read solely from the course book. As a teacher I would feel much better being able to customize my lessons via authentic materials as I have no artistic abilities. I thought the tree crossword puzzle in the unit was fun too and definitely something a younger group of learners would enjoy!
