Lesson 4 gives a nice summary of the different materials that I need to use for teaching business english. While the use of authentic material seems to have a lot of advantages I have seen a lot of english teachers use this type of material very poorly. Because of this the students in the class felt as if they were being sold a product rather than taught. I see though from the way the lessons plans are structured that if I put enough time into preparing this material it can be beneficial. I also am finding the web based material from this unit helpful as well.
