I have gained a greater understanding of the english language and an appreciation of how hard it might be to learn at any level. I've been made aware of the various stages of learning and what activities and processes to apply for starters through to upper intermediates. I understand how important lesson plans are to ensure all teaching points are covered and a balanced lesson is delivered. At first the lesson plans were daunting, but now I feel confident to plan one out for a particular level and teaching point, and include fun activities as well. I'm grateful for the ability I now have to think through a lesson, to see in my minds' eye how I would teach the language point, and how it may be received by the students based on their level. I feel this course has been a great experience.
