This unit provided the overview of teaching and understanding receptive skills in the classroom. Receptive skills include reading and listening. It also provided an example patchwork lesson plan. We either read or listen for a purpose or for simple entertainment. This unit also provided many examples of worksheets. The first worksheet was solely reading and then the other worksheets tested the comprehension of the content described.
