This unit contained basic but important information about english grammar. I was familiar with most of the content but the explanations of transitive and intransitive verbs as well as the different classifications of adverbs and prepositions have equipped me to be able to much better explain the usage of these parts of speech much more effectively. Gerunds have also been quite difficult to explain but I can clearly see now that the part of speech changes according to the sentence. I feel like I am much better prepared to explain these concepts in the future.
