This unit was a good overview of english grammar. It sufficiently summarizes general concepts of grammar that teacher will be expected to know and describe to students. It's important for a teacher to have a solid understanding of the basic units of grammar so that more complex items can be conveyed in future classes. Also this unit is a good refresher for teachers who surely understand all this concepts on an instinctive level however lack the articulation to describe them. It's important for students to have a clear understanding of all the parts of speech so that they can use these tools in their journey of learning english.
