Unit 14 has reiterated the need for lesson structure and variety in the classroom. A good teacher shouldn't rely solely on his or her course book to provide all of the material for the class. This would become boring for students and teachers! There will be cases where activities will need to be designed specifically to fit the language level of the class and so course book material may not be appropriate. There should be a balance between course book activities and created materials to allow for more interesting lessons and to keep students interested in the class.
