I learned a lot of about the different tests and the reason for the various tests. I also firmly believe that feedback to the students ongoing is a big part of the evaluation process. It also makes sense that the teacher will have a good feel for how each student is learning and retaining (not retaining) the lessons that have been taught. Since some students have difficulty at test time (panic!) it is important to make sure the test scores don't incorrectly reflect what the student really knows. I believe some students cant take tests because of panic attacks. This may be a small number
