Unit 14 explores the usage of course books and lesson materials in the classroom. There are two types of materials that can be utilized: authentic and created materials. Authentic materials are more interesting and motivating however they are not made for students or have a graded level so they should be used with precaution. Created materials are usually designed by the teacher to replace or supplement material and can be graded to the level of the student.
