I personally appreciated this course, as I`ve learned many things in this course. It`s worth it! I`ve learned from the whole course a relevant teachings. I learned good ideas on ‘What makes a good teacher’, and the ‘role of the teacher’ and ‘what makes a good learner’. In ‘Theories, methods and techniques’, this topic helped me understand more the methods and techniques in teaching, and how to teach in an interesting way through using ‘ideas for Engage phase, ideas for Study phase, and ideas for activate phase. These ideas and activities are relevant and are useful tools for teaching. Managing classes such as classroom management and classroom arrangement are very important things to me and needed and to follow, because classroom management is the skill of organizing and managing the class, having a friendly, relaxed manner and maintaining discipline. Parts of the speech (Grammar), and different tenses such as ‘present tenses, past tenses, and future tenses are obviously difficult and confusing but it is interesting and helpful. I`ve learned a lot from this topic. Modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice are also interesting and I like the topic. In lesson planning, it helps me to be creative. It helps me widen my understanding on how to create a good lesson plan in easy, direct and productive way. I like the video in Unit 10, it is a good example way of teaching. Every lesson that covered in the topic is important and relevant. Therefore I will apply all the teachings that I have learned from tefl course in my future job.
