This course has provided a thorough introduction to teaching the english language. The sections on grammar were very challenging not having had grammar for a “very long” time. Also because I don't have a background in teaching specifically, the teaching sections were very helpful. For me this course was a good starting point. I believe I would still consider taking a classroom tefl course. I also think that doing some volunteer teaching of english might be a good next step (for instance within refugee communities etc.) I currently don't have plans to come back to Asia to teach english. Rather it is something I hope to do some day in the “not to distant” future but not immediately.
