When I started this course I was doing my second year of teaching, so I had some basic grammar to pass unto the lower levels. I was not too familiar with adverbs, third conditionals, or teaching pronunciation. I had no previous knowledge of any teaching methods, techniques or theories, so it was good for me to finally do what all the other qualified teachers had done. Since beginning the course I have changed the way I teach: I try to make my classes more fun and research more activities rather than solely rely on the course book. I have learned that I can prevent boredom in the classroom by deviating from the book. I have found some great websites from having to research the units and I feel more confident as a teacher.
