I have learned a lot from this course and have noticed that the way I teach (individual private lessons) has changed and improved since the beginning of the course. I am more aware of precise grammar points and gained a lot in terms of pronunciation explaining. I think that I will now be more comfortable in explaining english grammar and language structure and be particularly aware of the importance of lesson planning!
As I am now abroad, I will soon be looking for a efl job and hope to put all of this into practice when faced with a class!
I will definitely follow preprepared lesson plans, various learning materials and work on being as clear, encouraging and fair as possible. Dynamism will be an important point to focus on and I am really looking forward to putting all this into practice!
I will finally be particularly attentive to the use of pair, group work in the class room, as I think this is a key tool to create rapport between the students and make activate stages as useful as possible! Using the language is essential and working together is a great way to practice, interact and exchange.
