I have personally gained a lot! I decided to teach english four months ago but I didn't have any qualification in english or in teaching. This course gave me both. I needed a reminder of english grammar as well as a teaching course and I have to say I'm not disappointed. The school I'm going to work for is private and is based on what they teach in CELTA courses which is, I think, very close to tefl. I will always keep my tefl course files preciously close by to build my lessons, to remind me some tricks of the trade and to have a reference for self correction on my own work. I am starting to teach in a couple of weeks and I attend to stick to the tefl method and try out the lesson plans I have worked on in the previous units.
