This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:

I have learned so much from this course. Most importantly, I have gained tools to make me confident in the classroom with students. Furthermore, I have learned how to structure a lesson so I can make the most of my students' time. Furthermore, I've gained skills for teaching english language topics in an engaging and exciting way. I have begun thinking about teaching language in a whole new, far more methodical, and much more effective way. I have learned about how to interact with a class in a more dynamic and engaging way. And I've reviewed many grammar topics important to efl learners so I will be ready to answer their questions and present information clearly.
I will use these skills when planning lessons, interacting with classes, and coming up with activities. I am confident that I can handle unexpected situations, unmotivated students, and problematic grammar topics using the skills from this course. I will keep the valuable ESA methodology in the front of my mind when I sit down to plan out lessons. I'll be sure to remember to establish a good interaction with students and foster an environment where they build good relationships with each other. I plan to do this using a dynamic voice, eye contact, encouragement, socially geared interactive language learning activities, and interesting topics that students will be excited to engage with. I have certainly learned a great deal from this course, and I plan on using it every day in teaching english.
