A good teacher is the one who can smoothly switch between his/her different roles as necessary and knows his/her students' personality and preferred type of learning. He can definitely spot his students level of english and pays more attention to the amount of learning taking place to indicate his quality of teaching. The fact that good teachers mostly have good students is a very thought provoking one! So if my students are not good enough it may mean that I'm not a good teacher either!!! :(
