This lesson was very helpful - seeing two real examples of an english teaching classroom with one that was effective and one that was less effective. It really hit home how important it is for a teacher to establish a positive and professional rapport with their students. If the students do not trust a teacher or feel comfortable it is going to be very difficult for them to feel relaxed and comfortable - which is essential to their success inside the classroom.
