In this unit I learned a lot of useful things about testing. It’s very good to know the different types of testing and when to use them. I think the placement tests are very important since it can be extremely hard to teach a group of students with very different english levels. I learned that testing can obviously be very useful to observe progress but so can on going observation made by the teacher through out the semester and tutorials at the end of the weeks.
