This unit showed different ways of evaluating learners. Besides it gave an overview of different ways of testing students such as the placement test which is conducted for the teacher to find out which level a new student has and based on this level to place the new student in the appropriate class. A Diagnostic test for example is conducted at the beginning of a lesson to find out what the students have already learnt. In addition this unit introduced the Cambridge exams.
