Overall I thought this was a good introduction to the course. I liked starting off by learning a bit about why a teacher may be considered a good teacher. I also learned a lot by seeing the different roles a teacher plays in the classroom and hearing an example of each of them. The way the lesson broke down the different age groupings and explained how each of them have their own experiences and motivations was interesting. This part gave a little bit of insight into how teaching one group of students would present different challenges to a teacher than another group. At the end of the lesson seeing the different levels of language proficiency was also nice because I was able to see how a skill with a language could factor into the age group.
