This lesson provides a lot of straight forward and practical knowledge that can be easily over looked and forgotten while crafting a reading lesson for a student. I really like how the given Engage phase examples were listening to music and watching a movie. Even using an english version of their favorite native TV show would be really enjoyable. I also feel that Jigsaw writing and Jumbled words would be very entertaining and get the student's head into thinking in english and trying to understand the context instead of translating in their head word for word.
