In this unit we learnt about parts of speech and covered: nouns, including the main types, their plural forms and countable nouns versus uncountable nouns; adjectives, superlatives and comparatives; articles, both indefinite and definite, as well as zero articles; verbs and their transitive and intransitive forms, plus infinitives, auxiliary verbs, verb forms and irregular verbs and their forms; adverbs, including the wide range of forms and usages they can have; gerunds; pronouns; prepositions and; conjunctions. I gained a lot from this unit, as it helped me brush up on my knowledge of nouns, verbs and adjectives and introduced me to gerunds, articles and widened my knowledge of adverbs and their very varied usage.
