Russ Tuff TEFL Information So you are in two minds whether or not to do a “Teaching English as a Foreign Language” course. I get it, I was there as well. Trust me, I understand; that’s a lot of money to outlay, and what’s more, you don’t even know if you are going to pass the course. Any of those statements or questions starting to sound familiar? Let me tell you a bit about those statements and questions; those statements and questions completely disappear once you commit to your future. And when I say “completely disappear” I mean, you don’t even think about them again until you are asked to write a blog about your experience whilst studying. First, I’ll give you a bit of background on myself, trusting that you’ll be able to relate, or see a bit of yourself in some...  [Read more]

⏩ TEFL Courses in Chiapas - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ Mexico - Inclass Courses

Our course in Chiapas de Corzo is located in the south of mexico. It also borders Guatemala and flanks the Pacific Ocean. According to Lonely Planet, Chiapas de Corzo is a town with an “easy-going, provincial air”. The summary is accurate but the town is overlooked by most tourists—which is great for sustaining authentic local customs. Our center is in a small town but we’ve got big plans for all trainees who take our course. On the weekends you can tour up a nearby mountain to San Cristobal. The town is home to ancient ruins and beautiful lakes. For those who wish to take a longer trip, the world-renowned Mayan ruins of Palenque are only a seven-hour drive away from Chiapas de Corzo. Day trips to waterfalls such as El Chorreadero and El Chiflon are also great options....  [Read more]

Elizaveta Pachina Teaching Ideas After I graduated from school, Ifromided to be a teacher. I had all the prerequisites for that profession since my childhood. I entered a university, and the department, which I chose, was Russian Language and Literature. It happened because it was affordable for me financially. Although this profession was good, I often wanted to try myself as a teacher of English too, just to not feel bored from teaching the same subject all the time. However, I did not dare to take that step, since I lacked good equipment for teaching English. This new skill quite differed from my main profession. This post was written by our TEFL certification graduate Nargis S. Please note that this blog post might not necessarily represent the beliefs or opinions of ITTT. The...  [Read more]

Elizaveta Pachina Alumni Experiences There are many reasons why a person might be interested in becoming TEFL certified. Initially, I only really had one reason, is that it’d be an interesting way to start my career as a teacher and would determine if this was something I wanted to do with a big portion of my life. One of my major life goals is revamping the American education system and making it more efficient, especially on the public-school level. I’ve learned a decent amount about how education is handled in several countries outside of America and while no system is perfect, there are things we could be doing better. By finding a TEFL job in another country I’d be able to gain experience as a teacher as well as study teaching methods outside of the American education system,...  [Read more]
