Motivation is perceived to be one of the key factors of any success story we know of today. It implies hope and a desire to act upon a task that may not look so appealing to us, on the contrary, motivation is usually needed when we face challenges. Whether it’s trying to climb a career ladder, get rid of bad unhealthy habits or even force yourself to go to the gym a certain amount of times per week. All these activities require a tremendous level of motivation and the desire to act upon it in the first place.

Ever since I was in elementary school, I have always looked up to teachers. They have inspired me all my life, the role they play in a child's life is one of the most amazing things ever. That is the main reason I decided that I wanted to be a teacher myself. I have a few years of volunteer teaching work and from it, I have learned many things. Some of the main things are discipline, atmosphere, and education.

Lesson planning is a topic that has a lot of controversy in the teaching community. A lot of people believe that lesson planning is a waste of time and some believe that it is the most important thing to have when conducting lessons in a classroom. According to the E-learning Network, “Lesson planning is a significant element of the teaching-learning system. A lesson plan is a step-by-step guide that provides a structure for essential learning. Before planning a lesson, it is essential to classify the learning outcomes for the class. It is important because it helps the teacher in maintaining a standard teaching pattern and does not let the class deviate from the topic.” From my experience, I believe that... [Read more]
⏩ Tefl reviews - Some Vs Any English Grammar Teaching Tips - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ITTT
Some and Any are two words that often cause confusion, which is why we have decided to take a closer look at the difference of the two words in this video. Firsly, some is a determiner used for positive statements while any is a determiner used in questions and negative statements. Consider the following situation: I asked the teacher if he could give me some paper. I said ‘Excuse me, have you got any paper?’ Unfortunately, he didn’t have any. The first statement is positive and therefore requires us to use some. The second sentence is a question and therefore, we need to use any. The third and final sentence is a negative statement which also requries us to use any. It's worth noting that we do sometimes use some in questions and we also use any in positive statements. For... “Some theorists suggest that lesson planning is not a good idea as it creates a more fixed, teacher-centered lesson” (ITTT TEFL 009 Lesson Planning, pg 1). However, I would argue that without a lesson plan many inexperienced English teachers may often lack direction. I will discuss how to best use a lesson plan to achieve the greatest successes in each lesson.

Teaching language to children is a rather delicate and complex process that requires a careful approach and patience from the teacher. To make this process more vivid and interesting for children, it is necessary to remember the existence of such an important and very useful tool as games.

Learning a new language can be a daunting task. It requires a lot of studying, practicing, and participation in order to fully comprehend and be able to use a new language. That is why people who want to learn a new language prefer to take a class on it instead of trying to learn it themselves. Taking a class on the English language can help build a student’s confidence and motivate them. It is especially important for an English teacher to develop a rapport with their students because English students need to feel comfortable with the person teaching them their new language skills.

It seems to me that it's a kind of language that can easily go through your ears. It's elegant and very special, al least that's how I see it. Nowadays, it's a world spread language that is taught in schools around the globe. English is everywhere. We can find it to be the main language in computers, mobile phones, video games. I believe the motivation of students is the most important way to get the best out of a student. It has always been an easy task but most teachers don’t take advantage of this because they do not know how to motivate, they aren’t aware of its importance and some teachers believe it takes so much time.
There are two types of motivation. The extrinsic motivation which is caused by an external factor like, the fear of failure, materialistic rewards and the reputation of the student. We also have intrinsic motivation which comes from within the student like the love of knowledge, the enjoyment of the learning process and inner satisfaction.
While extrinsic motivation is temporary, intrinsic motivation is... [Read more]

At its core, teaching students online offers positive and negative consequences. Children are often at home when they take these classes. It means that they do not have to travel to a specific location to learn English. They can learn in an environment that is already comfortable for them, perhaps mitigating some of the anxieties they might feel. While its convenience is the main appeal for most people, it offers challenges that can detract from a student’s potential to learn and fully understand the English language. It is important that when a teacher decides to begin teaching online classes, he or she be aware of these problems as well as ways to combat them to ensure that the students have the highest chance...
