Teachers try to make their lessons easy to understand. Teachers might use a chalkboard, a projector, or a computer. They make posters or worksheets before class starts. Teachers plan the schedule for the day. Most teachers have to teach what the principal tells them.
Teachers also assign homework and class projects. They often have students work together to do projects. When students are not doing as well as they should, teachers help them.... [Read more]

After the coronavirus, schools all around the world started switching to online classes. Even before the pandemic, there were a lot of people already recognizing the benefits of the online classroom and when the corona crisis began, more people were convinced of the many benefits of learning online.
The first reason I would like to mention is that online learning is incredibly flexible. Students are usually able to choose their own study times. Not only that but online learning also allows you to study at your own pace. This is extremely beneficial for students of different levels and with different needs. Comparing this with traditional schools, it's quite clear that online learning takes the lead here. Maybe at... [Read more]

I started teaching online two years ago. With no training, it was a bumpy start. If there is one thing I want you to take away from this post, it’s this: relax. It gets better.
Be ok with not being great when you start. Teaching is a craft. No amount of school can fully prepare you to teach. That’s not to say that you shouldn’t study before you start teaching. Studying can help you be better equipped when you do start. But there is an intuition you have to develop when you begin teaching. You will learn with practice how to connect with your students, how to identify what areas they are struggling with, and how to best teach different concepts. Odds are, your first classes... Even for people who are unable to carry a tune, singing is something that most would probably enjoy. There is a bit of embarrassment to overcome for many people, especially youths, but with a classroom full of people all singing together, the embarrassment factor is lowered. With that in mind, I would say that singing song in the language that a student is learning help keep vocabulary and grammar in their mind. In a lesser sense, poetry fulfills a similar goal, but I would assume that more people would find fun in singing, and therefore be more open to subject retention, than poetry simply because of the musical aspect. It creates an upbeat and happy mood (depending on the song), and this activity could even be... [Read more]
